Always use the remove hardware tool or it can mess up again after not using it and pulling a card out. Seems better since latest updates though. I have same problem with my Canon and Panasonic cards. Have you tried different cards? and have you tried a different computer?Īre you concerned about the specific pictures on this card or just getting everything working for future picture taking? I even tried doing that regedit thing and using the eos utility updater but that doesn't recognize the camera (probably because the driver itself cannot be found) Browse the recommended drivers, downloads, and manuals to make sure your product contains the most up-to-date software. I'm also running win 10 64 bit, was able to get the pics off the CF with adapter before. ![]() ![]() So how do I get the pictures off orrrrr am I boned? When I connect and turn the camera on it just shows under Other Devices in Device manager, can't find a suitable driver for it and i haven't found one on Canon's website. ![]() Now it's doing the same thing so I thought hey, I'll just connect it USB to the computer however it doesn't see it properly. Canon PhotoStitch, Canon Remote Capture, Canon ZoomBrowser EX, Drivers & Utilities. So I found recently that when I went to get pics off the CF with adapter the comptuer didn't recognize the card or thought it was corrupted, no problem, was super old adapter, so i bought a new transcend one.
